Discover Scuba Diving

You would like to make a real dive, but you are not yet ready to take a full dive course. Beautiful! Then the Discover Scuba Diving program is for you. The program takes approximately 3 hours. You watch a video or you get an explanation from your PADI instructor on the beach. The beauty is right in the sea! You then perform a number of exercises in the shallow end of the beach on Caracas Bay. If you are familiar with the equipment and you feel comfortable in the water, then we will do a tour dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters. We introduce you to the breathtaking underwater world of Curaçao!

If you thought it was great, but you don’t have the time to take the PADI Open Water Course, you can still dive under the supervision of our PADI Divemaster or instructor during your vacation in Curaçao. Experience with diving is not necessary but you must have a reasonable physical condition.

Pick-up and drop-off is available from your accommodation to the dive site.

Traveler pickup is offered. We pick up travelers from most local hotels. For our pick up service we charge $25 round trip.

Once your purchase is complete, we will send you complete contact information (phone number, email address, etc.) for our local operator to organize pick-up arrangements.

What To Expect

Collection and return service is possible from your accommodation to the dive site. There, the PADI instructor is introduced and the paperwork is done; the equipment is designated so that the introduction session can begin immediately. You get the theory part and explanation about the use of the equipment. Everything at your own pace.

We perform various exercises and work on equalizing the pressure and start descending. This will be done separately and then you will go deeper and end the exercises as a group. You will be guided throughout the entire tour by your PADI instructor so that you can enjoy your dive safely.

The underwater world of Curaçao is special for its high visibility of approximately 30 meters, various colorful fish, coral reefs, sea turtles and other marine animals.
